Tens of thousands, perhaps millions, have come into some kind of religious experience by accepting Christ, and they have not been saved.--A.W. Tozer
If there is no change in a person's life, he or she must question whether or not they possess the salvation that the gospel proclaims.—Billy Graham
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.—Apostle Paul (Romans 10:9-10).
If we teach that “accepting Christ” gets one into heaven, we must make it crystal clear that accepting Christ means accepting the Holy Lord who thereafter exercises full ownership rights to all that we are, all that we have, all that we do, and all that we become. Any other understanding of accepting Christ is unbiblical and dangerously offers a false assurance of salvation.—Chip Kirk
You must not imagine that in this church all who have come to Christ nominally have come really.—Charles Spurgeon
